Maybe you were at the Philadelphia Flower Show earlier this year and had a chance to attend one of our vibrant and energetic Potting Parties with Tu Bloom and Cool Wave® Pansies.
BUT… if you weren’t, no problem, we got you covered! Here, we’ll be sharing some of Tu Bloom’s potting party tips that you and your friends can use at your next floral soiree.

Use a sustainable container, or at least one that will help retain moisture and NOT wick away hydration (a.k.a. terracotta pots)

Re-use gardening plastics like plant pots or even plastic water bottles to fill in space in your container. Crush them and place them at the bottom. This helps you keep the weight of the container down if you want to move them, and you save money on soil.

Fill your container with good-quality potting soil. NOT TOP SOIL!!

Position your plants for the Thriller, Filler, Spiller layout so you have no soil showing in the pot. (Note: Thrillers can be in the back OR in the center; adjust plants accordingly)

Cool Wave Pansies and Wave Petunias can be Filler or Spillers, depending where you place them in the pot.
